The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (IIITM) Gwalior is dedicated to nurturing India's computing professionals for over two decades. Since its inception, the institute has offered various academic programs, with the undergraduate program in Computer Science and Engineering formally established in 2017. Following the restructuring of the institute into departments, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering was officially founded in August 2022. In addition to the undergraduate program, the department offers two postgraduate programs: (i) M. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (going to start in July 2025) and (ii) M. Tech in Information and Cyber Security, catering to the growing demand for expertise in this critical area. Furthermore, an integrated dual-degree program (M.Tech. CSE + PhD) is going to start in July 2025.
Students in the department are encouraged to undertake projects in diverse and cutting-edge domains.
